Websites
Over the years, I’ve written web copy for a range of companies across industries. Here are a just a few of my favorites.
Client: DISC Sports and Spine Center, providers of minimally invasive spine procedures and the official medical provider for Red Bull North America.
Challenge: Website redesign with the goal of increasing the number of surgeries generated from online requests to 5 per month. Messaging needed to convey the people and lives behind each surgery. Targeting primarily residents of California, the client also wanted to speak to the fact that their audience leads a more active lifestyle and prioritizes wellbeing.
Solution: Copy focuses on relating to how patients are feeling and the end-benefit of choosing DISC: a pain-free life. Messaging also conveys that the center believes in choosing the best treatment plan for the patient–not necessarily the most aggressive treatment.
Results: 900% increase in contacts from organic traffic. 15% increase in visits from organic traffic. Total number of surgeries performed each month has more than doubled since website launch.

Client: Songtrust, a music startup offering a platform that makes it easy for songwriters and artists, among others, to collect royalties.
Challenge: Bring the value prop front and center, while capturing, informing, and converting leads.
Solution: Speaking directly to creators, regardless of what stage they’re at in their career, the copy educates while offering clear solutions. The focus is on how Songtrust can help their audience–not on the snazzy features of the platform. For the platform tour page, copy speaks to features in context of what they do for the audience.

Client: CRD Design Build, a Seattle-based firm that designs and remodels homes within customers’ budgets.
Challenge: Let the firm’s 35 years of award-winning projects shine, while providing the necessary information customers need to choose the firm. Some education on what “design-build” means was necessary.
Solution: While the work shines throughout the site, we added a secondary navigation to the About page to highlight the company’s commitment to its customers. Education on design-build speaks to how this major differentiator benefits customers.

Client: PetalMD, a healthcare company offering software that streamlines physician scheduling, patient booking, on-call management, and more.
Challenge: After acquiring Xacte, Petal MD was looking for a full redesign. The content strategy was completely overhauled to tell a more cohesive story.
Solution: Copy was reworked to speak directly to buyer personas, giving them the clear, meaningful information they need to make a buying decision. Each product was given its own page to highlight the main benefits.

Client: Corporate Screening, a provider of the most through investigative background screening process
Challenge: Fresh off a visual rebrand, the client needed new website copy that aligned with the new branding
Solution: Based off the UX strategy, copy aligns the client’s marketing goals with its buyers personas to more effectively guide users through the buying journey and into the sales pipeline.
